Sean O’Shea, Managing Director of The O’Shea Net Lease Advisory of BRC Advisors, brings over 40 years of rigorous experience in a full range real estate activity to client assignments. Prior to joining BRC Advisors, Mr. O’Shea was an Executive Vice President at a Santa Monica-based Net Lease Advisory. He has served in the capacity of an Officer and Shareholder of a regional commercial brokerage firm in major markets on the East Coast; to serving as a Senior Asset Manager for a $2 Billion+ private REIT in Santa Fe, NM with a personal portfolio responsibility of over $130 million of diverse office, industrial, and mixed-use and retail assets.
He has completed in excess of a Billion Dollars of client transactions throughout the country in different asset classes. He brings a track record of superb client/investor relationships and ‘hands-on’ management experience with nationally recognized real estate management companies.
Mr. O’Shea is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and attended and lectured at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; and has completed a number of Advanced Investment and 1031 Exchange workshops. He participates in continuing education conferences and ongoing course work to stay abreast of current developments in a range of real estate investment-related subjects.
He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders’ Association of Philadelphia, NAHB; and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
He is a member of the Real Estate Section of the California Bar Association. He maintains real estate licenses in California, New Mexico and Colorado. He has served on the Advisory Conference Board of The Net Lease Forum and Net Lease Summit. He has been regularly interviewed by a number of nationally recognized publications regarding market intelligence in the Net Lease sector.
He has served as a Panelist and Moderator for Interface Net Lease, Real Share Net Lease and ICSC ReCon Net Lease Panels. He annually attends the Jeremiah Long Advanced Annual National 1031 Conference that affords cutting edge market intelligence and tax intensives by industry experts.
He, currently, serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Shopping Center Business and Real Estate Forum and Globe St. as well.
Francisco Williams, CCIM is an Investment Analyst for The O’Shea Net Lease Advisory (ONLA) at BRC Advisors. His is focused on single tenant net leased assets nationwide. He applies a strategic approach with investors on target acquisitions including underwriting, debt structures, exit cap rate and residual value. Prior to his work with ONLA, Francisco has served as a marketing consultant and a proven deal maker in his recent assignment at Capital Direct Funding, a Private Money Lending Source. He originated a range of loan solutions for a diverse business and finance Clientele throughout Southern California.
Francisco is dedicated to supporting both local and national philanthropic efforts. In addition to volunteering at his local food bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Francisco is an active volunteer with Isha Foundation, an international non-profit dedicated to cultivating human potential and well being. Francisco graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. He holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Varsha “VP” has played a key role at The O’Shea Net Lease Advisory for the last 7 years of service. In August of 2008, when the credit crunch was in full evidence, she successfully guided a number of our IRC 1031 Clients through the maze of opportunities; and crafted seller-financing solutions which served to provide a “Win/Win” solution for all parties to meet the market conditions in a very challenging Net Lease marketplace. Her responsibilities have ranged from Business Development and Investor Relations to the timely execution of sensitive transactions which have required the highest performance standards which she consistently has met.
Director of Research
Mr. Hofvenschiold comes from a research background with over ten years experience in commercial real estate and marketing. He has developed and maintained real estate databases covering properties and property owners nationwide as well as having marketed commercial properties throughout the country. In addition to database management and data integrity, Mr. Hofvenschiold oversees the development of data and research for our regular market forecast reports.
Mr. Hofvenschiold graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in Communications.
